AP-11 Head

The AP-11 is a compact, lightweight equatorial mount designed from the ground up for portable astrophotography, combining precision mechanics, smart control, and a modular architecture in an exceptionally travel-friendly package.

With a payload capacity of up to 5 kg and a weight of just 1.6 kg without the wedge, the AP-11 is designed for compact astrophotography setups where portability and performance are equally important.

Both axes feature a high 1:375 reduction ratio and are driven by oversized NEMA 17 motors, providing a robust drive system specifically engineered for reliable tracking and precise motion control.

The AP-11 can be controlled through its dedicated iOS and Android app, giving you an intuitive interface to configure and operate the mount directly from your smartphone.

For fast and accurate setup in the field, the AP-11 is compatible with the optional Align Module, which provides a dedicated solution for polar alignment through N.I.N.A. TPPA or the AP-11 mobile app.

The AP-11 is part of a fully modular ecosystem. Add the dedicated Wedge for equatorial operation, the Align Module for assisted polar alignment, and the AP Controller for standalone physical control.

The entire system has been designed with repairability in mind. Components are modular and accessible, making maintenance and replacement easier and helping extend the lifespan of the product.
